Golden, flaky, and handmade fresh every morning on Simonton Street. Pair yours with a Cuban coffee so strong it'll wake up your soul — or let us pour you something chilled from the island.
Different pastelito fillings and counting — from classic guava and cream cheese to bold ropa vieja.
123 Rico Pastel started with a simple idea: bring the taste of a Cuban kitchen to the middle of Key West. Not a restaurant. Not a chain. Just a small spot on Simonton Street where the dough is rolled by hand, the coffee is pulled fresh, and nobody rushes you out the door.
We learned early that people don't just come for the pastelitos — though we like to think ours are worth the trip. They come for the smell of café cubano hitting the air when you walk up the steps. They come because this place feels like someone's abuela's kitchen, only with better weather.
Everything we make here follows the same rule: if it wouldn't pass the test at our own table, it doesn't go in the case. That's the 123 Rico Pastel promise — no shortcuts, no compromises, just honest food made the way it should be.
A few moments captured behind the counter, on the sidewalk, and in the cups we pour every day.
We're right in the heart of Old Town Key West, just a short walk from everything. Look for the warm smell of coffee and fried dough.
Drop us a line and we'll get back to you as soon as we can — usually before the next batch comes out of the oven.
Thanks for reaching out. We'll get back to you soon — probably before your next pastelito cools down.
